魚で腎臓がんの予防

　今日は、魚を食べると腎臓がんの予防になるというスゥエーデンの研究者の研究成果の記事を載せます。

　この記事によれば、サケ、ニシン、イワシ、サバのように脂肪の多い魚を食べると、腎臓がんのリスクが７４％減るということです。

　A study by Swedish researchers has found that eating fatty fish like salmon, herring（ニシン）, sardines（イワシ）and mackerel（サバ）could help protect against kidney cancer, cutting the risk by as much as 74%.
　Lean（脂肪のない肉、赤肉）fish like cod and tuna, and seafood like shrimp and lobster do not offer these benefits, possibly because fatty fish has 30 times more fatty acids（脂肪酸）and five times more vitamin D.
